This was actually the response I was looking for. It proves how much stronger scholars are then white mages. Scholars are such a tier over white mages they purposely have to limit double scholars playing together and white mages are so far behind scholars that they have to let them stack every ability together and still fall behind what a scholar brings. Your list is a huge example of why unless the white mage is altered fundamentally in the expansion with a new ability that really lets it shine it will be benched fro Astrology job if white mage remains as is.

Dear lord, the biased from you is getting to the point where its not even funny. What you have here is something that has shot your argument out of the water, and your response is to say that it proves why whm is useless, which isnt even the topic of this thread.

What the post you responded to does prove is that sch do stack, disproving once again your OP, a trend that is forever on the increase in these forums. What it does not prove, in any way, shape or form, is that sch > whm. There is absolutely no mention from Sanguisio about what whm does or doesnt do solo or stacked in a raid. I do not believe Sanguisio was intending to argue a whm vs sch stance, but answer your OP.

What you get with 2x whm is the best aoe healing in the game, the ability to shield in proportion to the target health pool, fastest non-instant cast healing in the game, the ability to stack the most powerful regen abilities in the game, one of the most powerful aoes in the game, the most powerful healing spell in the game (benediction is that powerful, shame most lack the skill to use this properly), best burst dps from a healer in the game.

Now i will say this again Vlady, Sanguisio, like nearly every other person who replies in your threads, was disproving what you were claiming. This is the norm in your healer hater threads. What they were not doing is jumping on your scholar supremacist bandwagon.

Anyone can sync with anyone if you communicate. As well, anyone can fail to sync with anyone if you fail to communicate. The game isn't inherently responsible for that.

We all know it's a "Yes", anyway. I think the most constructive thing we can do is make sure his posts don't find their way to anyone's eyes that aren't used to recognizing and passing over his name.

In all fairness, if adlo shield would stack, then also Graniteskin should stack, yes? After all they're both class specific shielding skills. How's that for balanced.. Whispering winds, which is HoT, already stack, as do WHM HoTs. Fair is fair.

To be honest the problem isn't so much that shields don't stack but that half your heal disappears when there's another sch around. So, if you really wanted to equal out the stacking situation you'd have to do something like give the 2nd whitemage a debuff that cuts the upfront healing potency of all their heals besides cure I. Essentially the HoT and fairy/regens will be unaffected as well as benediction and lustrate.

But anyway, I don't have a big problem with the stacking situation as far as df goes. I just chalk it up to bad luck, just like when we get that 4 bard party every once in a while. I haven't tried t11-13 or odin with double sch yet, but for all other content it was no big deal.

More seriously : as a SCH, i'd prefer to be paired with a WHM because they complement each other pretty well. one on the tank and burst heal, the other for the rest of the group.
