No it isnt, it is all RNG

If you need HQ mats without having to grind mobs that dont give exp anymore you should level your retainers up. They practically can bring you everything back that you need for crafting :x

Also, in my experience and it might factor in item level, ratainers tend to bring back a very high percentage of HQ items.

Yeh, if the amount is 30 total you get 3-6 HQ or all 30. In my experience the all HQ happens around 10-15% which is quite reasonable seeing that it only costs 1 minute to start the venture and one venture mark. Its the way i get all my shards and crystals too. 40 minutes for 120 shards or 60 crystals, if i send them away the one whole day i get more then i usually use over the course of a week ^^
