That doesn't mean that it won't have an entrance to a raid like all the other zones, though:
Those look like steps into that tower-like structure to me

You both guys didnt understand what I said.
Yes the Floating Continent is the new area, but think guys. That place could be like Mor Dhona, might be the new area but that doesnt mean that the entrace to the raid is not there. Crystal Tower was there on 2.0, but all was locked until 2.1. Also, even that the raid is not nostalgic, that doest mean that isn't allagan related, and could be or could be not realted to the Crystal Tower at all.

That can be explained, but the real trouble lies in figuring out where it becomes a beautiful tale of a long-forgotten hope, as opposed to a C-grade science-horror flick.
From the mechanics that have been explained, I imagine the royal blood contains an extra bio-mechanical vector (i.e. nanomachines), though possibly more bio- than mechanical, given the Allagans leanings. This vector, functioning normally, carries all the extra information that would be useful to the royal family, accessible as a sort of memory expansion, in addition to serving as a near-field access key granting full admin rights over compatible systems, i.e. Syrcus Tower. So the Royal Allagan blood basically turns bearers into living Amiibos.
What happened with G'raha, however, seems to be the result of 5000-or-so years without maintenance. In a degraded state, the information could no longer be accessed freely, and any attempts by the "blood" to interface with their host caused intense pain as random bits of information were forcibly written directly into his brain, in a phenomenon that I imagine could have easily been mistaken for an Echo vision by knowledgeable observers. After receiving the "transfusion" from Unei and Doga, however, the degraded vector he inherited from Salina was able to use the stable vector to establish a proper link, suddenly and painfully forcing all the information, "memories," and "purpose" contained within into his head in one fell swoop. The end result is not entirely unlike "remembering," but all the established facts support that it was never something that he, himself, had ever "forgotten."
The exact nature of the vector is almost irrelevant, because even just knowing the mechanics as they were explained in-game I can't help but want to ask, "what about that was supposed to be hope, guys?" It also doesn't really help that he was unbearably vague as to his own personal motivations behind doing what he did, especially as an off-the-wall split-second decision. I'd like to hope that this all wasn't simply an unfortunate case of the writers trying to cram as much "spot the FF3 reference" as they could into their remaining runtime without much thought as to the implications behind the mechanics involved, but we just don't have an answer, for now.
Eureka... Yeah...
I just had an interesting thought on this... Given Deep Dungeons are going to be a thing going forward, and given Palace of the Dead will feature Edda regardless of your level (so you can encounter her again before Tam-Tara (Hard))... Well, I'm sure you see where I'm going with this...
Deep Dungeon: The Forbidden Land, Eureka
When can we expect this, SE? Don't act like it isn't happening... I know it's happening... Various loose ends throughout the story are starting to make sense now that Deep Dungeons are a thing...

Holy necro indeed. xDEureka... Yeah...

But yeah I would love to see the Deep Dungeon feature used as a means to return to and explore areas with a few loose ends in the story.

You are forgetting every single Hope filled Giant outside of it that views it as a Sacred place and fight to the death to defend it from the archaeologists.Few people saw the Tower as the hope, it's an archeology interest. None of the city states seem that concerned, the world isn't on the brink of ruin, and we know that the garleans have been using thier own stores of Allagan lore for years, as told in the Fall of the White Raven.
As for hope, wel, the WoL is the hope of a lot of people, now, I guess.
Stop digging up my old shame! (Not that I really regret that much if it, but anyway...)
My current suspicion (hope?) is actually that CT will simply be included in the pre-4.0 recap, leading up to Eureka as our next Idyllshire zone. Yoshida did say he wanted it to have equipment and shops, right?
Yeah, right. Poor G'raha is apparently an even lower TT card priority than Doga and Unei. I was hoping he'd at least have factored into the explanation for Krile's entirely inexplicable knowledge of Allagan tech, but the only thing they seem to have in common so far is complete apathy towards the fates of their peers. And now I'm all sad again...

So many things right, so many things wrong...
... well, the possibility is still there. As with the Shadow of Mhach though, I'm still not expecting it to have lasting implications on the overarching plot.
(And don't worry Waffles, G'raha will get his card yet! It's gonna be, like, 4 stars!)
Trpimir Ratyasch's Way Status (7.4 - End)
[ ]LOST [X]NOT LOST
"There is no hope in stubbornly clinging to the past. It is our duty to face the future and march onward, not retreat inward." -Sovetsky Soyuz, Azur Lane: Snowrealm Peregrination
And I still think they kinda jumped the shark with the whole thing, introducing a character with implications that huge if they never intended to use them again. Especially if Garlemald was actually built by remnants of Allag. That'd be like fighting Nidhogg without Estinien.
(Maybe they have to wait on it, because they want to put it in the "Scion" category! I can dream.)
