Au Ra Hairstyles for Other Races?

They probably will later on, not all but some.
I like 1 female Roe's hair, and the Barret looking Elezen hair but I think it's race only.
So don't be upset if we don't get all of 'em.

Also i am sure that over time they will give other races a couple of the au ra styles, though maybe not the really unique ones sadly..

I also wish males got the epic dreadlocks females have available.. there are so many cross race/gender styles that would make for some epic looks.. trouble is some of them are too race affiliated for it to by handed out, already surprised that male roe got the female miqo'te ffxi throwback that they did

While I'm for more hair options in general, I also feel like some hairstyles should stay race specific.
Just for the sake that (idk about anyone else but...) hair is one of the first things I notice about a persons character.
And sometimes I see certain hairstyles WAY more then others which then makes them less cool looking to me cause I see it everywhere.

For Example: The half braid Female Elezen got, while I love that hairstyle, if I were an Elezen female character I would have been kind of bummed that what was once a very pretty/unique hairstyle just for my race is now on every single Mi'qote -_- (Which btw looks weird to me considering the gap in the hair where other races ears would be is just empty on Mi'qote O.o)

While I don't mind race specific haircuts, I do am bothered by the fact that while all race have at most 4 unique haircuts, au ra have 8 which makes it kinda unfair as some could totally be race free haircuts.

To be fair that could just be because most of their hairstyles are Doma fashion trends that don't exist in Eorzea until after they get here (like the sudden addition of eastern house decor, and possibly clothes and such in the future)

It could be that the hairstyles get added to everyone else once the au ra make their debut on Eorzean shores, time for an eastern makeover~

I would rather them not. Individuality can stem from exclusivity, and we really need more of that in this game. Racial specific poses, gear, battle stances, etc. Instead of having a giant pot of mix and match, I'd rather see more attention to detail on the existing races .

This I agree with. Like I said before, I would be okay with Au Ra hairstyles being given to other races and genders if it also meant that other hairstyles from other races become cross race. My preference though errs on the side of racial diversity, so why not more hairstyles per race instead of poaching from a shiny new race with fabulous hair? :P

The Au-Ra really were spoiled for choice with these hairstyles, I love them all.
