    Suggestion for a theme and I would like to hear others ideas

    I am not sure if anyone would agree with me or maybe there isn't enough tech to support this idea. But maybe SE can add a type of Campaign like from FFXI "Wings of the Goddess" where it is a single Large camp in each of the areas of the 3 main cities. Well in this camp all jobs can help.

    For example as a army is ready to launch an attack Disciplines of the Hand is preparing special armor, weapons, potions and food only usable for the Campaign and as soon as the Campaign finishes all items made by DofH will be destroy automatically. Disciplines of the Land will gather all materials for DofH from sources (A few boulders, A few trees, a big pond and small patch of field) that are unlimited only for DotL that are participating in the Campaign, those sources will give rare materials only usable for the special equipment.

    As the battle is nearing to start NPC will prep Disciplines of War and Magic how to engage the battle with battle regimen so Campaign can be use for both beginning and advance players (Of course we are given the option to skip speech if repeated multiple times). As the battle rages as not to leave out the DofH & DofT maybe they can also be use to band together to build Warmachines needed to advance the Campaign if they do not complete the machines in time enemy airships bring in more troops putting DoW & DoM at a disadvantage.

    Rewards from Campaign: all around SP for jobs, Never before seen items, maybe even updated items every once in awhile from players suggestion as long as it isn't a exaggerated item and makes sense for rank and class.

    Also as to not Spam the Campaign and forget about the Leves or other events maybe Campaign is restricted once a week per player or Class.

    First, when typing a long post you should separate ideas and paragraphs occasionally with a line break for ease of reading. As it is, you've posted a wall of text and many people get annoyed reading these clustered posts.

    Onto my response.

    As much as I enjoyed campaign in XI, I'm not sure a campaign like system is what XIV needs at the moment.

    I feel that they should of course take what works from XI and expand upon it, but I'm not sure how much sense campaign would make. It would be better to call it like large man behest, or expansion to the behest system.

    I would be all for it down the road or if they could make it work but I feel with the game the way it is at the moment that what you're describing simply wouldn't work.

    hehehe thanks for fixing the spacing I am new to forums in general.

    I also agree on storyline but so far the game is suggesting a War is brewing with the empire, and they are disturbing Primals so plenty of materials are available. Anyways maybe you're right FFXIV just needs to go its own way and not something borrow from FFXI. Just I am getting bored from pointless behest. Thanks for the reply!
