Item level is a HORRIBLE way to measure dps firstly. Secondly, some persons opinions may change depending on their battle experience.

There's no such thing as an 'average amount of healing'.

Either people stay alive or they don't.

It really is. I've met equally geared Monks who literally put out less than half the DPS I do. Item level (And also to an extent which pieces at each iLvl) just defines the maximum potential output, not the amount a player's actually capable of outputting.

I can't really offer you numbers, except that 350-400 is the kind of numbers that are generally acceptable to take into final coil (Although you can do higher than that, and that's a good thing if you can).

As for healing? The reality is that actually, huge HPS is actually not a good thing, because in almost every fight in the game that amount of healing means a massive amount of overhealing being done, which is huge amounts of casts and MP being wasted.
