You don't need to know anything more than the rotation to be great at your class, but what matter of you does it consist if a person wants to know WHY something works a specific way or HOW a trait works...?

So many other classes take a cursory glance at the BLM rotation and think "hur dur... I can do that while making pancakes for the elderly" or some such nonsense.

Try maximizing your deeps while constantly moving with what is pretty much intended to be an immobile class and come back with your findings.

I don't wanna be a BLM for this reason. I feel like everyone has high expectations if you're a BLM, and who wants to be treated like that?

People are just utterly clueless in which they think blm is so easy all you do is spam fire and ice, etc. Ok but do you other dps folks have damage interupted due to having to move? No you do not
Blm is about minimizing the amount of movement among other things to maximize your dps. If people say otherwise they clearly have not played much as blm.
Furthermore i do play as all other dps classes (except Monk) so do not try to argue with some nonsense, lol
