Agreed, wish it was June already :P Or at least late May, I wanna know Xaela naming patterns. Personally, considering the Ascians hanging around the Ishgard's pope, I wouldn't be surprised if they're the ones allowing Au Ra in and out, along with the HoL, as a trap maybe.

yeaa June cannot get here fast enough. I still aint decided if I wanna do story or leveling AST/DKN/MCN first. Likely story otherwise I may need to disable all my chat filters to avoid spoilers XD

Right, but that also means that while trying to find the Enterprise with Alphinaud and Cid, you're approaching the houses of Ishgard as an Au Ra with no one to vouch for you. I'm curious to see if they'll acknowledge it for characters who haven't done that part of the story.

I expect their mistrust of us as Au Ra will just get rolled in with their mistrust of us as outsiders. There's already a whole series of quests revolving around the fact that they don't trust us and don't want us there, and we need to earn their trust before we can accomplish much of anything in Coerthas. So it wouldn't take much rewriting, maybe just one or two places where the NPC dialog says something along the lines of "go away, we don't like outsiders" could be changed to "go away, we don't like your kind" if we're playing an Au Ra at the time. Then suddenly that whole chain of earning-their-trust quests becomes about overcoming their Au Ra prejudice.

The difference between the current races and the Au Ra though is that people so easily mistake the Au Ra for beings with draconic origins. While it might be easy for them to go "Well, you guys did save our lives, I suppose we can allow you in" to the current races, the Ishgardians despise anything that looks draconic (RIP Leafy Seadragons). So, while forgoing their xenophobia might be possible due to desperation or actual gratitude, their straight up hatred towards draconic things won't be so easily let go of.

I'm kinda hoping that Ishgardians will treat Auri npcs with the same amount of contempt and discrimination as Gridanians treat the Duskwights and Keepers.

Ive been thinking and wondering, Au ra's got no ears right? Where are the earings going to be? on the horns?

They will be on the horns, strangely enough near the more thinner parts near the head. I kinda expect them to be near the end, hanging off them, but like nope, they're closer to the base
