    You are left nekkid of any stances once PB wears off (must DK/BS without stance +effects). This is understandable, but in PVP it's been giving me some grief.

    Somersault gives a very short PB buff that I often forget about, ends up causing me trouble.

    There's so much CC in PVP that when I'm trying to use an ability but can't because of no stance (which is the case when PB falls off) my first assumption will be that I've been stunned/slept/pacified, not that I'm stanceless and need to go back to DK/BS. That lost precious second before realizing this is very precious. And lost. :<

    Just something I need to get use to.

    fist of wind is gorgeous when you are punching something that has a huge collision such as Cerberus or Five head dragon or anything that big. It might take you longer than your GCD to move around the mob outer collision, and moving inside the collision is not... accurate in terms of flank/rear.

    umm... you do realize you can see the border between a targets flank and rear simply by looking at the target circle under it right? the target circle looks like a giant O with a C in the middle of it when you look at it, that break in the second circle (or C) is where the rear is, so you only need to do a half step to change between positionals even with giant mobs like those.

    I monk and agree with everything. I also like the idea of higher damage than ninja since I'm hitting 1k consistently on my ninja's Aeolian Edge and a bit less with Gust Slash which is used more often where my monk barely reaches 900 on a single hit (averaging 700 )with equal equipment and a slightly better relic all while having that painful ramp up. Sadly it affects our dps more than people realize cause most dungeons have breaks built into boss battles that can't be avoided...i.e. Cloud of Darkness. I focus on single target skills so much I forgot Arms and Rockbreaker were even on my skill bars.

    They're both close, ninja is just more bursty and flexible with better utility than monk and less ramp up. You play monk because it is fun to you and somebody's gotta cover that int down debuff otherwise a Ninja is just an easier monk with better utility.

    Cool thing about monk is you know your armor/AF will always have nice variety whereas ninjas are stuck with the same black garb with slight variations.

    I agree with the useless punch. and yeah arm is pretty trash unless you wanna go full out AOE or wanna silence(which really isn't very good compared to things like Blunt Arrow).

    I personally love punch in PVP, I just wish it didn't use so much TP.

    As for Fist of Wind. Yes I agree it is hard to notice but I can say it has saved me many times while trying to kite mobs. The speed gives you just enough to run faster than enemies, it's just key that said enemies are melee so they don't touch you.


    EDIT: And yes I would seriously love to use Fist of Wind in raid but gdi that 5% damage is too important, says my raid. The movement + Skill speed increase is mouthwatering.

    Honestly, I wish they would switch out One Ilm Punch with Summersault (I think that's the one that gives you full stacks). Honestly Ione Ilm Punch is a PVP ability. Very few fights make use of it because it would force MNK into the meta solely to strip buffs, which SE doesn't want to do. The only time I even had it on my hot bar was when frontlines was new and exciting.

    Summersault on the other hand is more like an Oh **** button that would have been amazing to have at level 50. But then again I'm a bit bias due to my hatred of stacks being lost and how long it takes without PB.
