Depend on what they name the weapon for Machinist.

We know they get a gun but what type of Gun we do not know.

If the Gun given to Machinist is not called Musket then the Musket will still remain open to a possible future Job like Gunner or something.

hey as long as i get to use a firearm as a dps, im ok with it the gadgets and gun attunments are a bonus

It's the closest to Musketeer so I'm good with it lol.

Machinists use pistols.
I would hope Musketeers used muskets. But that doesn't seem to be the case.
