    Use my Gryphon to reaching floating platforms, use my Fenrir when I'm running on said platforms. I don't see the issue.

    But you can still get aggro when flying low to the ground. And who knows maybe the heavy penalty will slow you even more when flying or maybe it will make it where you cannot fly. We just don't know all the details yet.
