Nice try. In that first quote that was from my OP, I did not edit that sentence at all. It has been there and worded that exact way since I first posted this thread. I don't see why you don't think the OP might change and it might be worth looking at again, but that part wasn't even changed. OP edits happen frequently on forums and is the best way to clarify the OP's opinion without requiring readers to read through an entire thread, but moving on. For the people who don't believe me and want solid proof that I had clarified how quickly the DPS said his first sentence prior to Skivvy's first posting though:
Let's take a look at the second quote. My second quote was first posted on 05-01-2015 at 11:41 PM. It was last edited on 05-01-2015 at 11:49 PM.
Now let's take a look at when your first post was. Your very first post on the topic was on 05-02-2015 at 02:13 AM.
So, are you essentially saying that I went back in time and edited my post because I somehow knew you were going to post on this topic and somehow knew I'd need to change it in order to argue against you? I don't think you are, but that's what would be required here really.
The timestamps aren't supporting you here :P. The second post couldn't have been "considerably different" at the time of your posting because its last edit came before your first post on the thread. Even if you were referring only to the OP being considerably different, my point still stands. Whether you didn't read/understand the OP, or didn't read/understand the second post, either way you missed something. I have since found a third post where I mentioned it after your first post as well.
I felt that you needed to read or at least re-read to understand that the DPS did have time to type out at least "please", and understand that he had no excuse not to. If he had "no skipping anything" typed fast enough to barely even give the cut scene skip screen time to end, he had time to add the simple word "please". There is no excuse why he couldn't have had the time.
And as for your question, I have answered it. On any forum, it's important to check the OP for possible edits every so often if you are involved in the discussion. An OP in part is the thread creator's summarized opinions/purpose of the thread. When a thread gets huge like this one, it becomes even more worthwhile for the thread creator to summarize what they want to say in the OP.
You can really blame the 20 post limit for why I was forced to respond to a lot of people in the OP at the time. You did see my response to you in the OP though, so you must have been watching it some, enough to see my disclaimer I would think. If I recall correctly, you asked me why I was responding to you again, so you did see the response in the OP. I will quote if you like.
The amount of people misunderstanding, ignoring, or just not reading some things I've said is evident by some of the responses people have given.
When people have posted in a manner that demonstrates understanding of what I've said, even if the post is not in agreement with me, I still have not mentioned reading to those people.
