Thing is most of these "charity" organizations just pocket the money. I know that's what happened with haiti.

I have made donations to Uncle Sam. You might have seen him in the form of naval ships.
Great idea. Currently, many charities are on standby so if you wish to donate to a charity that is actually on ground in Japan, consider Medecins Sans Frontiers (also known as "Doctors Without Borders"). Last I checked, they were still in assessment, but I honestly can't imagine medical professionals standing around for long in the midst of such devastation.

Seriously stfu already,if you want to help go outside and find a way to help , posting on forums how much you care will do nothin at all for the people currently living this disaster. They dont even have internet to start with let alone a home or a pc.What your doing is even as anoying as the people who you complain about .This is a game forum to discuss stuff from the game , bad or good.there are already fund set up and relief efforts in japan.
Sorry guys but take your forum lingo and shove it.
What you guys are doing is more then typical forum trolling.
You are pissing on the graves of the recently dead.
I have reported every post which does break forum rules and regulations.
I shouldn't have swore but I am stressed out That ppl like you exist. I am ashamed for you.
Sorry but you went beyond forum trolling. Do cut it out.
And I'm Catholic, I'm doing what my religion taught me.
SE =/= the japanese people who DOES need our help, stop acting like SE needs our help, they dont , i dont need to be tactless with them . If you really whant to help follow the OP advise or go outside , lift your ass from your PC patrolling forums of a game and go do some real stuff to benefit those involved in this terrible terrible catastrophe .
Leave game forums for what they are. Discussion about a game.

I made a post about this. =(
But I agree. Once I get my hand on some money, I'm going to donate.
And I'm unsure what Kilta_Firelotus problem is. People are trying to help by gathering together to donate money. I'm sure there are individuals that have been, rude, or just irresponsible but ignore them. There will always be people like that. For the majority, I would say that the FFXIV community really cares and is trying to help in anyway they can.
Oh and people, I advise against donating to Red Cross unless it's blood. (Which is what they were created for). It's one of the worst organizations you can give your money too, simply because so much of it gets "lost". Doctors without borders would be better or another organization. At least that's my opinion.

I don't know what's the problem with Kilta_Firelotus. There are forums to discuss game problems, yup you are right, but right now we are in the "General Discussion Forum", so we can discuss General Things, If they are in the game, or not.Seriously stfu already,if you want to help go outside and find a way to help , posting on forums how much you care will do nothin at all for the people currently living this disaster. They dont even have internet to start with let alone a home or a pc.What your doing is even as anoying as the people who you complain about .This is a game forum to discuss stuff from the game , bad or good.

Going back to the thread. I'll make a donate as soon as I get my monthly fee from work.
If people want, and can, is the donly way we can help Japan right now. : /
I'm The First and The Last...
I'm Alpha and Omega...
I'm the Beginning...and The End..
While your intentions may be good popping into these thread and dropping the "Tactless" comment in the majority in itself in itself is its own form of trollin. While not as bad as what some of the pond scum around here are doing, you are just giving them an additional source of troll fuel, yourself.there are already fund set up and relief efforts in japan.

Report all the threads you want, you just don't need to drop the same comment everywhere or any comment at all. You don't need to keep bringing more attention to them, most of us see their post and move on, that's how you deal with a troll.
As far as donations go, I am done donating to any of the major charities. I will never do it again, they use it as an excuse to spam you about every little bad thing happening in the world. Do yourselves a favor, find a smaller scale legit donation effort that allows anonymous paypal donations.

Thing is Kilta.. being tactless is not against forum regulations... As if anyone in here is actually being tactless.
Also, raising complaints/suggestions, while a bit 'tactless', is exactly what this forum is about.. Don't gouge your eyes out everytime you see any post that doesn't offer sympathies for SE and Japan.
Well! at the time what I can do is send
strength to this nation! have faith ..
and everything will be alright! ^ ^
