fist of wind needs fix/buff including monk moves

Just give me a burst skill that instantly gives me max GL stacks on a 1/2 minute cooldown and I'll throw my hands in the air and praise Jesus.

All fists should just have 5% damage increase + a utility effect.

Assuming that fists of air and earth get that damage increase, you could go for the safer option of "earth" to reduce damage in the event that you don't dodge something, or go with air which improves that chance to completely dodge that damage.

My only problem is that despite having obsessed about this suggestion for far too long given that I never play MNK, I couldn't figure out a utility effect for fists of fire.

I like this, I'd love to see Fists of Fire give 5% damage + increased crit rate, however that maaaaaay need a bit of tweaking to bring it back into balance.
You could potentially also say give fists of fire 5% damage + reduced TP cost, reducing the reliance on a goad or a song from your bard in exhange for more pew pew.

Both bootshine crit and silence require opo opo form. Read the tooltip, people! You "might" be able to get it to work with PB if you use PB and arm of the destroyer right after a full GL rotation, granting you the opo opo buff. I've never tried that since it would be a stupid way of using PB (causing you to lose your stacks). And even if it did work with PB, that means you have a "spammable " silence every 3 minutes that would cause you to lose your stacks if used more than 3 times within that PB period. Sweet! Sounds like an awesome ability to me!

Wrong. It allows you to use any ability outside of the required stance but doesn't apply a different stance. You can't walk up to a dummy without previously attacking. Use PB and spam arm of the destroyer and have it proc the silence, since you wouldn't have opo opo stance from a prior comboed snap punch, demo or rock breaker. How are so many so misinformed? Do you even monk?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've done exactly that in PVP because there were too many healers. Or in PVE because I wanted to through out a few Bootshines in a row.

It's really not hard to test. Go up to a dummy, pop PB and spam arm. Do you see the silence debuff on the dummy? (Probably not)

Pomelo is right. It does give you all stances at the same time, which means Arm of the Destroyer will always apply the silence debuff and Boot will always crit behind the target. I've done it many many times.

They need less useless skills, or are you about to hijack the thread so people can focus on your DRG QQ instead? Plenty of space to make your own pity party.

But by all means let's not complain about useless skills people barely use.
