What new race would you like?

Why are all the races so flawless looking and human-y?
I mean I know it's a "fantasy" but... how about some cute monsters or something? None of the races really look like they couldn't be a human cosplaying....

Dunno, I know NA is a different market than JP and this is a JP game. Maybe that's just what is the rage in the east and I wouldn't understand. Other MMOs I've played though, you could be something scary if wanted to (but just cute enough to have a soul, yanno?).c

Ah yea... I mean, for instance, many of my friends going Au Ra during the expac have managed to make characters that look identical to their current ones... but with horns... for most part (minus lalas of course)

Dunno.. I mean, if they are "monster" /devils or whatever they are...why no clawed hands/feet? Only a short galka type tail (size does matter!)? Why do they have such great posture(hunting animals/monsters have arched backs for leaping right?)...etc
Don't get me wrong, the horns and scales look great, I'll probably try one out myself but... just seems like it could have been more. I'm not like unhappy or anything... I'd imagine cost came into play. Remodeling all the armor around a new wireframe would cost huge production dollars they could better spend on the world... Just trying to understand. I accept what they are doing and think it's great, and I believe they choose things for reasons. Just trying to figure out the reasons.
