I managed to get first this week for the first time, i was excited, i was happy. However; i got 170k mgp, a lightning card (which i already had) and 4 platinum packs. Why do first place get less platinum packs?

1st place reward: Lightning

4 platinum packs:
Shiva
Ultima
Ultima
Lightning

78 Gold packs:
Worthless 2 star junk

I know it's not supposed to be easy and if the Tourney was more frequent or you could earn more mgp, it wouldn't be so bad. However, this entire thing is a waste of life.

because a safe platinum card + 4 platinum packs > 5 platinum packs

A safe card that i already have isn't worth more than a platinum pack. I wouldn't even complain if i could trade the Lightning card for a single gold pack but i can't even do that since it's only 600mpg on trade in.
