Is there any chance poetics cap will be removed?

Ahh, I see. Honestly, I'd sooner take some of the Demon gear and crafted gear over some of the Ironworks. Then again, some of the Dreadwyrm stuff is pretty bad too. It's pretty easy to get through 10 and 11 now (assuming you've got a T9 clear, that is) so you can pick up a fair amount of decent pieces without too much problem.

I made myself some rings for nin and pld, but that's it - i wont need the BiS offstats or the 5-10 dps that it makes in the end as the "hardest" content i join regularly is expert roulette, and i rather rip my eyes out then do WoD more often then once a week. My face would be red all day due to the amounts of facepalms i'd need to do all day ^^" - only reason would be for skins, yes... i'd do it for the looks but not the stats, weird eh? XD

Lol. I should've known that that comment would start something like this. It was meant to be encouraging, not to start a rift between those that raid and those that have no interest. I meant it more to try to push people that are maybe interested but haven't tried raiding yet into doing so. T10 and 11 aren't very hard anymore, and a good amount of gear drops there. I actually queued for T10 in the DF with 3 friends from my static and we managed to clear with the four randoms in there. Echo helps a hell of a lot in the lower turns. The missed mechanic that would've wiped half the group before now leaves them hanging on by a thread, which means they can be healed up. T12 and T13... yeah, those admittedly take some doing, but they have also gotten significantly easier with the Echo buff.

In any case, I didn't mean to get off on a tangent and start a raiders vs non raiders thing. If you don't raid, whatever your reason may be, I personally don't have a problem with it. We all play the game for different reasons. ^^

I honestly don't see the poetics cap being removed before the expansion though.

tbh, I don't have any clue about what 3rd coil is like now because I'm certain I could not beat T9 without somehow getting a group that carried me through it

But yeah, cap certainly won't be getting removed until 3.0, I think that at any given time there will ALWAYS be some sort of "tome" with a weekly cap.

Give yourself a chance at it. You might be pleasantly surprised. I actually sort of fell into raiding myself when someone from a social linkshell asked me if I'd be interested in tanking in a static starting with T6. I hadn't cleared T5 yet, but they were quite willing to help me out with that, and on we went into SCoB. Many Coil turns later, three of us from the very beginning are still together (the rest of the static joined later, from T7 onward) and now we're victorious over T13. ^^

Re: tomes, yeah that seems to be the pattern. Always one uncapped and one capped.
