What people seem to forget is that feedback during a game's lifetime is never too late (and harping on that feedback is only feedback if something comes of it). It's not like they have to act upon feedback, but reading and even considering is enough. It's a concern that players feel strongly enough to voice, that's all it is. It's not like anything is static in a game, features can be added later, and that's fine. They can also be acknowledged as a popular request, but not acted upon, and that's just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes, but bringing something up is better than not saying anything at all (as long as it isn't a tantrum). If they do make a change it could be several patches in, it could be never, it could be a consideration for the future or they can stick to their guns; regardless of the outcome, feedback is a continuous and organic process. To say it's too late or pointless serves nothing.

We're not making demands, we're providing observations on a feature of a character model, big deal, it happens in every game. Civil and constructive criticism is the aim, and if they read it then it has served its purpose. It will be a bonus if something gets changed, but that's entirely up to them. We have, and will keep, doing our part as far as feedback goes.

I believe that SE has seen this thread already but not had any reason to respond. We know that they have shown themselves for the Yoshi-P birthday thread, so they must've seen this one in the list.
Maybe the silence is because this feature already will be there in the full release of the expansion (since they said that all features are not unlocked in the benchmark).
Or it could be because they are talking about it and don't have an answer to go public with.
And then ofcourse the last option, it will be just how it is in the Benchmark.

I support this thread and the costumisation it would bring, but I also know that everything's not perfect.

I wouldn't worry about upsetting people. :P I would love the choice, but I know that it's just the nature and reality of the situation. We can only hope for a favourable response at best and any response/acknowledgement at the least. When it comes to answering questions, community managers and developers always have to choose and word things wisely, so it's understandable.

Does SE even replay to threads? Most game companies kinda do what they want regardless of the opinion of the player base. I mean, everyone hate's fates right, but SE kept using them through out the whole quest line of the relic weapon quest.
