Yeah seriously look what happened last time they pulled something out of the oven too early.. I can't wait for this patch, chocobos? Hell yeah.So you decide to just disregard all positive information that will be given to us, and instead focus on that one, upsmart, constantly riled and put-down statement, which most of the community don't really care about? I don't understand you. That statement is just asking for people to argue against you, turning that statement into a 'troll' comment.
Yes, it's later than usual, but look at HOW MUCH STUFF there is. I, for one, do NOT want a half-baked cookie coming out. Yes, it may be earlier, but if stuff isn't ready, nor is it complete, why the HECK would I want it? Learn to COMPROMISE. THINGS TAKE BLOODY TIME. This time, with such heavy changes and additions, it will be COMMON SENSE to assume that the patch will be delayed. Everything has a price; the price for us getting this content is them developing it to a satisfactory level which requires time and testing.
I am a hypocrite for saying this, but provide something more constructive than a complaint that gets the community, SE and the game nowhere. Besides, the end of September CAN be considered the end of summer, as previously stated in other threads which you happened to either miss or completely ignore. If the former, we can attest to ignorance, but if the latter, than you are just plain foolish.

I am most excited about the Primal fight and adjustments to battle etc. Though I must admit, the yellow feathery goods and airships make me j*zz slightly. :L

The next update looks great , i might be a bit weird when say this but i am most looking forward to going on an airship more than anything else.
Actually del early alpha had us targeting the aetherites manually, It was a ginormous mess. lets hope that they keep both in place.

Aside from VERY oddly missing items that NEED fixing before moving forward.... like LS functionality, a half decent seek/sea system for party's, and a actual loot system... patch looks amazing! And we're even getting some of the things slated for 1.20 like personal choco's...
Only bad thing content wise will be dungeons cause of absence of seek/sea still as well as a loot system which are CORE functionality systems that shoulda been in before dungeons were even added >.< No idea why they are adding more of these if we don't even have these basic mmo features, makes no sense :S

Hmmm I dont remember that, and I was in alpha from the start must be somthing I forgot and cant have been in long, cos I remember most things from alpha.
Like i said it was very early on. it got switched to the menu very quickly.

If you check that letter (letter X) where he said all the tasks from the list will be implanted before end of summer, there is plenty of stuff not in 1.19 like jobs and jump that are speculated to be in 1.20 (at the earliest).
That explains why some people expected 1.20 before end of summer if Yoshida kept his promise written in bold (two times) to deliver these things before end of summer.
First day only or something? I was in the alpha as well and don't remember that. I only explored the city on the first day of testing though.
Great patch overall... course some people are just impatient and want everything right away, yeah, not gonna happen just sit and wait! for everyone else lets enjoy 1.18 until then.
