I think that things won't be too bad as long as they give us enough leeway to where the points we get to allocate actually DO mean something. I.E. If I want to tank in a light party as a PUG, I'd like to know that allocating more points to VIT will have some kind of effect, or if I want to enfeeble, PIE will do what I want it to do(aside from being delicious and better than cake).

I like the idea that removing physical level will allow stats to actually matter, but I also feel that point allocation is one of the things that differentiate FFXIV from FFXI, and I think it would hurt the game if they eliminated that aspect.

fromthe last time they talked about it, they said something along the lines of, "you will be given less points, but each point will have a greater impact"
