Will it be a year before this game is competitive enough for PS3?

Most see this game as "dead" for the time being. It's obvious we're all betting on the Ps3(Wii:U?) resurrection, so there's nothing we can ultimately do until that time resolves for us (other than talk with the community team).

1.18 was a milestone that set parts of the foundation. A few things created some sparks, but it was mostly boring & upsetting for a few.
1.19 should be most of the completion for the foundation. 1-year mark will come and we'll finally have what should have been in the game. We also get a few new systems on top of that. Will likely, start the milestone for FF14 stabilization.

FF14 is behind & will probably never live up to the vast array of dynamics that plenty of P2P & F2P MMOs provide.
I've never honestly cared if it does or not as long as the game is fun. I can easily go get my "Fix" from those MMOs at any time. It's not that big of a deal for me.
If FF14 had everything every MMO has, it would probably be too annoying dealing with everything.

I remember saying in another thread that even if XIV was the perfect MMO with seemingly infinite content, people would still complain that there is too much to do, SE needs to focus on *my* specific wants/needs, etc.

I don't quite remember them saying that 1.20 will come out at the end of summer. They just promised us a lot of content for the summer which they delivered by giving us 1.18 & 1.19 by the end of summer.

If i'm wrong, can you correct me please by showing me an official post that says 1.20 will come out by the end of summer ?
