Something to think about...

Iceheart "laid with dragons" something along those lines, could the big white one possibly be "the one" she "laid" with, and mayhaps that is why it is missing its eye? Could it be that the dragons themselves saw that as something universally bad, love between a person and a dragon, and took his eye from him, obviously stripping some power from it? Would explain why Iceheart is there imo.

No Iceheart is not the one who "laid with a dragon." That honor belongs to Saint Shiva, the original heretic 1000 years ago. Iceheart was just a vessel to bring the Primal Shiva into our world once again, and used her power. Plus she's a fellow Echo user it seems, just like we are.

Not this again. Shiva didn't sleep with a dragon she allied with them. That is the original context in old english (Which most NA Dub speech in ff14 is based on). To "lay with <Insert here>" is to ally yourself with them. If it meant she SLEPT with Dragons it would have said she F***ed a dragon. This ain't Elder Scrolls people.

Calm down, I never said Shiva slept with anyone, which is why I put quotations around it, quite frankly the way it's mentioned in game is quite ambiguous. So please don't put words in my mouth XD I was simply just stating the way it had been stated inside the game.

I was correcting the person I quoted b/c it was not Iceheart, but Shiva that "allied"(better?) herself with dragons...

Why are YOU getting in a huff about it? I was using you to reference my point. I think at some point Alphinode made a joke that it was most likely a metaphor when he first heard of Shiva. Something along the line of "One can't help but ponder how exactly that would even work".

Go dig through the Au'ra board and see them link Shiva to just about anything with scales and wings and you'll notice why the "Shiva the Dragon F***er" idea got old and out of hand really fast. Thus my origenal post.

I wasn't making a "huff" about it. I was simply correcting you where you were wrong. I just don't like people quoting me and taking what I said out of context or even saying I said something, that I clearly did not. I know what "lay with" means in the way they used in the games actual text. I was simply clarifying for the person I quoted that it was Shiva, not Iceheart that allied herself with the Dravanians 1000years ago.
