Well, I reached out to the Japanese Community in regards to RMT issue...

I don't speak Japanese so I posted in English, as I understand many, many, Japanese people are fluent in English, and I am sincerely hoping that the Japanese community will at least bring the RMT issue to the attention of Square Enix. This is what I posted:

Title: NA and EU players requesting help from Japanese community!

There is a huge Real Money Trader problem on the North American and European servers. We have begged and pleaded on the English Forums for Square Enix to please take more action against the Real Money Traders but we have received no response from any community moderators in regards to the issue. There are countless threads on our forums about the Real Money Trader problem yet Square Enix have remained silent. I humbly ask that the Japanese community please request that Square Enix take more action against the Real Money Traders. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I sincerely hope it helps. The number of Anti-RMT threads are growing by the day and the problem is only getting worse. :\

From what I've seen, posts in the JP forum that are not in the JP language tend to get moved by moderators. Best of luck, though. I don't think SE grasps just how much it could ruin a new player's experience...

Please keep in mind I'm speaking from experience when I say this, having worked at a pretty high-ranking college tutoring English:
This is a misconception. The whole of the population is taught to read the language, but they're really about as good at it as someone who took 4 years of Spanish in high school.
Some get good at it, and reading is definitely their strong suit, but the general population has difficult conveying ideas in English.
As I have an understanding of Japanese (4 year degree in the language) I've considered making a post over there about the issue, but it would be difficult to convey the idea because I have no idea what the japanese term for "RMT" is.

Secondly, RMT is not the biggest issue here but Gil buyers.

Oh, we get it. We just can't SEE the buyers, and there are certain options that should exist for the players wishing to not have to deal with RMTers.

You are misinterpreting. I will say we as long as there is more than one person who gets it. There is more than one person who gets it.
And me? Not care about the RMT issue? I'm sorry, but that's a load of crock. I've reported more than my fair share of RMTers, and think anyone who buys should be blacklisted from all MMOs.

RMT= Real Money Trader

Traders contains both sellers and buyers... What you are referring to is gil sellers.
