You quoted a person who claimed WHM damage was superior to the one a SCH can parse (which is false and biased, this only applies when taking 4+ mobs and holy into consideration, never single target wise). Then in your post it appeared you were insinuating that the SCH "less damage" made up for its sustainability because a WHM couldn't keep up its DPS without a BRD singing. I mean... yeah, you didn't say it exactly with those words, but wasn't your post lined with what I'm saying?

In any case, nothing to argue about if we both agree. If any WHM can prove me wrong I'm always open for a dummy duel on Ragnarok on a same ilvl lol. This game's getting boring lately, need to spice things up.

FYI it doesn't need to be 4+ mobs. Holy spam will still usually top group DPS charts with even 3 enemies.

While technically true and I have seen this, if this happens, your group's DPS just aren't very good.

I will challenge any non blm to beat my WHM in dps involving groups of three mobs. As long as everyone is DPSing and not extending how long the mobs are actually alive, my holy spam (especially if P of M is up) will likely still be top dps (for sure if foes is involved).

Healer's dps IMHO is just an addon to make up for the missing dps that DPS aren't able to give. When a dps check fails, is not because healer's dps, if dps at all, not enough: dps check fails only because DPS were not at the level of gear or expertise needed to make up that point.

Looking at healer when failing a dps check is just blaming others for your (as dps) failure. Healers can help you but cannot do things in your place.

This ^^ There have been numerous times when we wouldn't have been able to clear bosses without me cleric stance and dps-ing, which I think is absurd. I don't think SE designed dungeon boss encounters to rely on healer dps in order to clear, but many PUG groups we'd have died if I hadn't - for example, on the final boss adds in AK HM or on the bird add in Keeper last boss. Sometimes I think people don't even notice their own dps and never see or care that we would've failed without healer dps -- kinda sad, really.

This is how you know if your dps sucks. If your WHM is in CS and is dpsing along with you but you still fail the dps check. Example AK hard. >.< This makes me want to stand there, stop dpsing, and go back to just healing while tapping my foot Lol.

If you ever get the chance, Fey Glow + PoM + Holy spam on CT trash is glorious. I managed to peak at over 3000 dps in Syrcus Tower.
