Should I be worried about Heavensward as a new player?

I think as a whole all parts of the game are going to be very busy! From lv 1 to 60, and pvp! It's going to be crazy fun!

Lets be realistic with a normal persons schedule lol. Takes about 3-4 weeks to hit 50.

It took me a month rushing to 50. I skipped a lot of story dialog and was bare minimum when I hit 50. Only one sub class to 15 and no crafting done at all. I skipped a lot of quests too and was going to use them for other classes.

I agree with everyone else that it's totally doable, and you don't have anything to worry about. The new jobs start at level 30, so I'm sure that there will be lots of people playing through the level 30-60 content for a while. My friends who are very casual and only play a 6-8 hours a week have taken about three months to get to 50,and they've been doing other things like gathering and crafting, so if you just focus in story you definitely have time before the expansion. I'd recommend just having fun and playing at your own pace and just enjoy everything!
