I wonder that myself, Why EU never get contest and are restricted from entering most of them.

The Great Eorzean Cook-Off Contest (EU)

The Contest is only open to existing holders of an active FINAL FANTASY XIV service account (“Service Account”) on 4 March, 2015 09:00am (GMT) who are resident in PAL Territory Country*. Contestants who are residents of France or Spain should refer to the Additional Specific Provisions under these Rules relevant to their country of residence.

There has been events for both NA and EU that has been identical with identical ingame prizes (screenshot contests for example) and that has worked just fine before so aslong as there is no real life or physical prize involved there is no reason why it wouldnt work.

This is starting to piss me off.

I'm an event person, it's one of the things I enjoy the most when I play a MMORPG. I always participate in all of them... when I'm allowed, and unfortunately... I'm European.
First you made the Valentione's event for NA people only. Then the Realm Redubbed one too (and this one I really wanted to participate) and now you leave us out of the Au'Ra twitter contest.

Thing SE thinks that europeans must have massive cow tits that can be milked regularly while offering nowhere near the support or "care". Heres how it works even outside of the game.

I know this aint FF14 related however i think its the best example that shows what exactly europe is to them and how they approach anything related to us (yes including ff14 )

Yeah, well, not everyone can cook. I for one cannot boil water without burning it. It'd be much better to have a contest where everyone can actually participate like, you know.... one that only asks you to twit an image...

Are you serious? You fail to mention the fact that not even EVERYONE in the NA can participate? I'm a console player and I can't have a benchmark program, let alone the ability to actually join this event.

It's wrong on a few levels, not just that EU can't do it.

I live in Quebec and we're banned from all SE contests. >.>
