Wait does this thing actually use Internet Explorer? I never use it. I use Chrome or Firefox. Also I actually know nothing about computers so there could have been settings I missed.

not for the playable part of the game. the launcher does use it in the actual game. not sure about the benchmark launcher though. still a good idea to keep IE up to date even if you dont use it because a lot of programmers use the framework of IEs core to program neat little things. I don't agree with using it but it was there so people took advantage of it.
make sure you download the "directx runtime redistributable from june 2010" though it could be a large part of the reason it won't run.(and no I don't know why microsoft doesn't have windows install those libraries by default but it doesn't)

Because just updating a game on PS4 is a pain in the ass because Sony wants to make sure everything is acceptable with them and then takes your money. You really expect SE to go through sony's process of releasing a full game (the benchmark + character creator) just so you can participate in a contest?

So yeah, I just saw that the community team has a cool new event up! I was excited for the benchmark video and looked at the Au Ra creation threads with envy and glee. I'm sure lots of other peeps looked at them too and just couldn't wait to create an Au Ra...

But then the community team decided that an event that was exclusively for PC players was a good idea. >_> Which, yeah, it's really not. Thanks for excluding a good portion of your player subscriptions.

Why are you blaming SE? Blame Sony, they are the ones that charge devs for even putting up demos on PSN, why the heck would SE pay Sony for uploading a benchmark on a fixed system.

This crying needs to stop. It's nothing more than people saying "if I can't have it NO ONE can." If PC users acted this way then so many game forums would just be filled with whine. Do you understand how many things WE don't get? We don't get most of the big name games. Like FFXV for example. Such reactions are childish and unbecoming of people. Stop it.
