Unless the material he watched was of the actually horrible variety, the only bad things about that story was 1) the fact that he forgot to turn off his mic (easy mistake to make) and 2) the fact that you guys kept listening (closet perverts). Because honestly, who cares what adults do on their own time.

If they only have one TS/Vent/Mumble/whatever channel, it's not like they have many options for going elsewhere to continue their chat. They all very well may have just muted him after they figured out what was going on, so #2 is a stretch And no one said it was bad they were watching porn, simply that it was awkward. I was down visiting my boyfriend (we don't live in the same city). He was pugging FCoB when it was still on lock-out and I was sitting beside him facetiming with my mother.

Well, I suppose the fact that my mother was listening must have slipped his mind, because after wiping on t11, to lighten the mood he said, "Well, the good news is my girlfriend isn't pregnant."

My mother didn't say anything, but I sure gave him a good smack on the arm and a I'm-going-to-kill-you-later look. I don't remember how he managed to weasel out of sleeping on the sofa that night, lol.

I believe the words "horror story" were included. While horror can be used to describe something positive, such as in the case of someone loving horror movies, from the context it's quite clear that in this case the storyteller used it to convey something they felt was bad.

Yes, muting someone is extremely easy, so even if they had only one voicecom channel (who the hell has only one voicecom channel...) it would have been no problem at all to stop listening. And maybe they did. Did you have a point at all?

Ad nothing truly horrible for me. The worst I've had was when I joined an acquaintance's TS for help on a fight. He discovered that I'm female, and turned up the creep factor quite a bit. I made up an excuse to leave, and went back to my FC's TS, and then in a moment of confusion they ended up giving him our TS information as they thought he was still helping me. He joins and he pretty much refused to address or talk to anyone else and continued on as before. My FC mates found this absolutely hysterical and were trying to egg him on while I was squirming in my seat.

This is my own failing, but I have an extremely hard time telling people to piss off unless they are actively trying to be an asshole.

Hiccups.

Used to use Ventrilo. Now and then I'd have the push-to-talk turned off and leave it as voice activated.
Apparently, my hiccups would sound like a squeaky toy being chomped on, or like a yapping dog.
It was a moment of,
Everyone: "*Sudden silence* .....what was that?"
Me: ".....>.>; I hiccuped..."
Everyone: "LOOOOLLLl what the heeelll omgggg looool"
Me: "FFFUUUUUUUU......" *Continuous hiccups*

My voice isn't even that high pitched, but there it is.

There was one time for raiding we dragged one of our members down to the TS channel we were in and he was singing. He didn't even notice he was moved until we were yelling at him to ask him to stop so we could discuss the plan.

There are also times where I hit my PTT key while talking to someone IRL and forget I'm actually in a channel on TS/mumble... >_>

Does anyone else have that "one raider" in the group who absolutely insists that no one can actually hear the TV he/she has blasting at full volume in the background? That we ALL must be imagining it because there is NO WAY we can hear every line of dialogue from Too Faster and Mas Furiosa or whatever is being Netflix'd right by his/her computer.

The main tank from my static has a bathroom directly connected to his room. Very often we can listen to him peeing, flushing and washing hands. It has become a sort of an in-joke when he comes back and we noticed he didn't wash his hands, then we send him back to the bathroom. Lolz.
