As much as I really want Viera for both Genders...the Male sketch here seems too butch for my liking >.< More effeminate and graceful please!

(The closest I can get to a Viera now is my fem roe with bunny ears...Vieroe.)

Well, it could be like male Hyurs, we have midlanders and highlanders. I'd like them to add two types, one who lives in the forest and is effeminate and graceful as you say, and then those who live in the desert, similar to the Amal'jaa (just like those shown in the concept above)

Yeah, I'm totally in love with the Viera concept arts. Especially the feet, and the males (they look so gooooood!)...and the females (they look so gorgeous! hoping if they do add them they keep the super slender, perfect bodies)...and the everything...
I don't think I would switch to them though after seeing Au Ra for myself. Just too pretty to tear myself away from them.

Considering they've painstakingly designed every piece of headgear from 2.1 onward with Au Ra horns in mind, not to mention the unique options available to them as well as the pretty exclusive facial features, this statement is an insult to the designers who worked VERY hard on the Au Ra race.

If taken as an insult or not doesnt matter really. Aethetics is a matter of personal taste. For some of us the Au Ra just look sloppy or downright hideous. Horns tied to face for instance was sloppy (this should have been something the designers should have realized people would want more control over, thats part of the design process btw considering your target audiences needs/wants)I would have much rather prefered a Viera race and bunny ears on races kind of disturb me.

It's not really a big thing though. Dragon-esque races always turn out this way. They're cool ideas in your head but the implementation always falls short. I really dont think there is any level of design or hard work involved that can bring a fantasy race such as that to life and not fall short of expectations.

Viera should be a female only race tbh and please, if there are coming at some point, skip the stupid heels and outfits they have in FFXII.

The last sketch looks like a copy/paste of Tera Bunny Elins tbh, I wouldn't mind that! Males could get the furry versions *gg*

Hey, what is this chibi version? Normal Viera I don't like at all, but if they'd look like this, I'd approve! Reminds me of Elin from Tera, those are adorable.
