If the "Favor System" was real, how would it work now? (Spoilers)

I'm talking about that April Fool's joke last year where the developers joked about adding a new system called "Favor System" where you begin gaining the favors of characters like Minfilla, Y'shtola, Nanamo, Tataru, Garuda, and the like by giving them gifts and spending time with them.

Basically courting them. Still wish it were real...

Now in this scenario if the Favor System WERE real and considering the ending to 2.55 and what becomes of the characters...

With Nanamo "dead" who would our WoL reacted if they were courting her long before the scenario played out and what would happen to their "Favor System" with Nanamo as their partner? Would it be similar to a divorce and you have to court again?

And if you tried to earn the Favors of Yda, Y'shtola, or Minfilla? Would it end the same way?

Just a little fun talk about a "fake" system joked about last year and how would it impact the 2.55 scenario of the game here if it were real. Thought it would be interesting and fun to talk about it.

As I going along the lines how the "relationships" with work in the scenarios? Say you dated Nanamo beforehand and became very close and when you meet her in her chamber room in the 2.55 scenario the dialogue changes a part and your character responds to the NPCs speaking ill of her with a death glare look in their faces.

Probably the same way most guildmaster refer to you if their somehow involved in the quest: A quick blurb about your relationship and everything else plays out the same.

Ex: Love interest: "Ah my beloved _____ how fare's you?"

Hmm, I guess I shouldn't be expecting too deep of scenarios here. Well I was asking what in your head would these scenes play out if you pursed a romantic relationship with these characters. How would the scenes play out in your mind and what would the characters say in this instance.

In other words, what's your stories for them if the Favor System were real?

I drew this for the Valentione's Day art contest this past February. The smoldering wreck partially off-screen to the right is the door to Syrcus Tower (terminated with extreme prejudice). The rest of the image speaks for itself. This is pretty much my head-canon unless/until they ever decide to get back to it.

Kan-E-Senna i can imagine building off of the storyline that happens if you start in Gridania~ you are already her seemingly best friend by the time you leave (and she calls you her dear friend later in the story <3 had much the same reaction as my character at that moment)

I can imagine you sort of becoming her main source of moral/emotion support (there must be alot of pressure on her dealing with both her nation /and/ the elementals..) or even just being someone she can be a normal person around~

Eventually the relationship would grow out of that and you would get a touching confirmation/romancy scene in the lotus stand at night~ and maybe a few extra scenes scattered over the storylines where you have some personal emotional support of your own happening (which in my view is very much lacking x.x how does WoL stay sane..?)

Not sure where to go after that besides it being briefly acknowledged in scenes together in the story and a scene or dialog post 2.55 from characters in Gridania.

Not that i would mind an eternal bond ending with whoever your significant other is..

Also very lovely picture, not into same sex relationships between guys, but that's good. Like to see more unique stories with the Favor System in mind.
