The hair-specific horns are a different color from the au ra's natural scales/horns anyway, so Jandelaine probably just jams aldgoat horns on their heads with super glue.

The Bad:
I am very disappointed that horn and face type are not separate options.
Male Au Ra Dance is... terrible
Male Brows are ALL jutting out very far ><
Scale colours are not customize-able
Male Au Ra hair types are very comical, no good short hair types.
The Good:
The Glowing eye ring options are great, left, right and colours.
Nice varied skin colour palette
Female Au Ra Dance is very cute
Tail types are nice though number 3 could have been a little more varied from 1+2
I wont be changing to Au Ra but that's my 2 cents worth.

I was little dissapointed that the only armour sets we got to test out on our character was the DRG ones wanted to see the Dark Knight :3

Really, really disappointed that the Au Ra women are still so freaking short. I thought they would be but when SE said that there were more options I was really hoping that they would be able to be taller than those in the promotional material. The males look amazing but I won't be playing a female Au Ra (even though I love the concept) because they're tiny. I wanted a badass female Au Ra - not another simpering, girly character.
Very disappointed![]()

In general, I am rather pleased with the overall look of the Au Ra, but there are a few things that I was disappointed about.
I was hoping that there would have been separate options for the horns: shape, size and/or color.
I was also hoping that the scales would have had a separate color option. I was hoping to make scales that matched hair color for the female Au Ra.
Also, what is this thing against red eyes? I either get brownish-very dark maroon or brown-pink? Even the limbal eye color was more pink than red. (Or red hair for that matter, like Erza Scarlet's from Fairy Tail *been binging on it these past couple of days*)
Using the maximum height setting for female Au Ra, I figured out that the tallest they can get is a few cm over 5'2". So I was like "Sure, I'll play a character the same height as me." So female Au Ra are 5'2" and shorter.Really, really disappointed that the Au Ra women are still so freaking short. I LIKE the fence. I get 2 groups to laugh at then.
I wanted to make a short male Au Ra but they're all Elezen size even at the shortest height, really unfair since female Au Ra can shrink to the size of a Miqote.![]()
(All of my points are from the female character creation, I haven't touched the male one)
-> I find it kind of unusual that the only difference between the two versions of the races were the scale colors. I thought maybe their scale patterns (across the body) or their horn types would be different depending on which on you were.
-> I didn't like how the horns/face were stuck together (Petition here).
-> I didn't like how that one female face type had the thickest lips ever and none of the options were really any smaller.
-> I was kind of curious what Lightning/Snow hair would look like. Kind of sad those aren't in there.
-> I didn't like how some of the hairs had "extra horns" but the colors were set so they looked unusual on the opposite scale-colored Au Ra (and they also didn't 100% match the similar scale/horn colors either).
-> I still have no idea where the earrings go. This bothers me.
-> The voice options were FANTASTIC!
-> The tail options were AMAZING!
-> The emotes were cute. However, I find the /examineself looked really awkward.
-> The females, despite being smaller than Femqo'te, have more prominent hourglass figures. Which looks awkward 'cause some of them look pretty... young. One and two
-> The resting b*tch face rivals my Miqo'tes and that scares me a bit.

I'm a bit disappointed with it imo. Only 4 faces, no horn choices, no real difference between the clans aside from skin tone, no scale color. I see a lot of #4 face patterns rolling in, be ready lol

Only thing I have to give feedback on is that if you use the Limbal Eye Ring you can't really tell what color eyes your character had to begin with. And with out it they kinda look a little plain.
If anything this benchmark has made it even more difficult for me to decide if I want my character male or female as I've managed to make a stunning female and a really cool male.
