I'll have to tinker with the character creator a bit, but I'll probably just stick to the ponytail. Long hair is pretty and considered feminine but from a practical standpoint it just gets in the way while fighting. Shorter, tied-up hair is the way to go if you want a "serious" look, in my opinion.

I converted it three times and it came out to 4'9.8...hm. Even if I convert it cm to inches it comes out 4'9.8.

The hempen camise and similar items are different depending on your race. I wonder what Au Ra will look like. I really like the elezen one with the patterns and sleeves and generally being less slutty, but I am kinda hoping if they have more scales on the torso it would showcase that too.
I was just wondering this yesterday. I'm definitely going to keep them handy so I can throw them on and see after I change.

There is no apostrophe in Au Ra.
Stop adding one three years later.

Females appear to have some scales on their hips and the sides of their thighs, and perhaps the small of their backs, but none on their torso.

Same for the males, though they also have scales on the front of their thighs.

I plan for a RP character of mine to be an Au Ra, and I want them ideally to wear the hempen camise set, so I really wonder what it'll look like too.
Unfortunately that one I think we won't know until the actual expansion.

I was reading it wrong I think, so don't mind me. :P

Thanks for the pics! I'd prefer a sleeveless shirt then for the arm scales. scales are cool. And probably a skirt, been toting the Acolyte's Skirt around for glamours since forever.

... well I could download it, but I'm +99.9% positive it won't run properly (if at all) on my PC.

Well now that the Benchmark is out we can confirm a few things (yes I can run it, only the character creator and it struggles somewhat if I use anything but the "aetheric" background).

    1. Facial and horn structure are dependent on each other.
1b. Available facial scales are also dependent on facial structure. Typically they're extensions of what's naturally there.
1c. Some facial structures don't allow for the "horn guards."
1d. There is a backwards-facing horn option for males, though there is still a little bit of horn facing forwards (Face 2).

    2. There are four tail types: normal, thicker-normal, extremely thick, and extremely thin.

    3. The outer rings that seem to give the appearance of glowing eyes are called "limbal rings," and yes they exist in reality, just less pronounced.
3a. Only Xaela start with the limbal rings toggled on, so it's probably an incredibly rare trait in Raen.
3b. The easiest way to get a "natural" look with the limbal rings is to make them a darker shade of the same color as the rest of the iris.
3c. Limbal rings can be toggled on and off for each eye.
3d. While odd eyes are available, limbal rings will always be the same color if both are toggled on.

    4. Aside from what's been shown, females have scales running from the top of their calves down the side to their feet. This is exposed with their racial starting gear.

    5. Aside from what's been shown, males have scales running down the middle of their backs; it's slightly exposed with the racial starting gear. They also have scales on their calves, though these are on the back instead of the side like the females.

    6. Both males and females have scales running up their thighs to the small of their backs. Males' start at the bottom of their thighs, almost right above their knees, and wrap up and around to their backs; females' start at about mid-thigh and simply work their way up. Both sexes have light scaling around their tails, though it's more noticeable in the females since they don't have the back scales the males do.

    7. Males have incredibly thin eyebrows. It's hard to see them without toggling the thicker, "unkempt eyebrows" option.

    8. Female height ranges from 146cm - 158.5cm, or approximately 4'10" - 5'2". Male heights are between 203cm - 217cm, or approximately 6'8" - 7'1".

    9. Skin tones are incredibly diverse, from ghost white to pitch black. Most "natural" human skin tones are available as well, in addition to the blue tones originally thought unique to the Xaela tribe.
