5'2" is not that bad being as I'm 5'3.5" IRL. the 2ft difference between tallest females and tallest males seems overly large for a gap. Will depend on what male shortest is, I guess.
I love the screens of creation though, can't wait til I can make my alt Au Ra. Naming conventions Late May makes me sad; I wanted to name change my alt sooner then that.

Somebody told me that the second iris color you pick for the eyes glow during night time, not sure if true or not. They said they translated something Yoshida said while messing around with the character creation.
If you look at some of the screens, the ones with red eyes with a male and female it looks like it. I hope someone is able to confirm it, if not I guess we get the answer tomorrow when we can try it out ourselves~

I know right? They act like the average woman is six feet or something. The Male Au Ra reach a MAXIMUM of 7' 2' as well. If the minimum is 6' 2' (My hight IRL) then we've actually got a balanced scale for the modern conundrum of "Short girls like tall guys" that we do IRL.

Cause though I my self am not dating, that doesn't stop me from getting attention from the "Height Challenged" damsels in need. lol

YES! IRL 5 foot even and my boyfriend is like 6'2". His dad is even taller, on my bf I am just below his shoulders on his dad I am like, sternum height. HIs mom though is about the same height as my dad, 5'5" or somewhere similar.

As for glowing eyes, that sounds friggin amazing. EVEN MORE HYPE to racechange. If I end up not liking it I have extra fantasia to go back to Miqo'te....

Yeah, 5'2" is pretty short as a maximum height, but while extremely rare it's not unheard of for women to be that short or shorter in reality, and given the possible differences between men and women (or just people in general) in terms of height, weight, body mass, etc. I don't think it's that big of a deal.

As an aside, now that I saw it's possible to change your character's name I'm strongly considering just doing that and getting a Fantasia to change to an Au Ra. I don't want to lose my crafting and gathering skills, or my precious Mandragora Royals... tens of hours of progress vs. a few bucks.

I just found myself wondering.....
The hempen camise and similar items are different depending on your race. I wonder what Au Ra will look like. I really like the elezen one with the patterns and sleeves and generally being less slutty, but I am kinda hoping if they have more scales on the torso it would showcase that too.
