Chocobo flight happens in ff7 and ff9, so its not out of the ordinary. In fact the animation in the footage is almost exactly like the ff9 animation.

The golden Chocobo did fly in Final Fantasy 7. You needed it to reach the place where you could get the Knights of the Round summon materia. (^_~ )

I believe the word you are looking for is Inertia :3

And yuh, the flying Chocobos are... well they are cute but next to the grace of a Gryphon or Dragon its.....

At the beginning it will be 100% DRK because most just want to level it (like me). But after 2 weeks PLDs and WARs will start playing again.

If we go 2D, they flew in IV and the After Years (Both of which had a 3D remake....)
