I did include a version more faithful to the male counterpart, albeit with a form-fitting breast plate. Would this be something more indicative to your tastes?

Definitely, but we need to get rid of this "more naked Skin = better Armor"-Trope. That pisses me off in many other games.
I hate platekinis. I am not part of the majority I guess. I prefer full coverage on the armor - if little boys need fodder for their "imaginations" it can be found on many sites on the net - does not need to be in game
And there are plenty of people, including women, who enjoy the trope. Its around for a reason.
That said I would rather have the first option instead of the latter, but I'm not gonna go complaining if it does end up being the second, more so with all the glamour options.
I'd rather not see Tera armor, though you did a good job editing them. (The risque really reminds me of some armors in Tera).
Unless there was some explanation why you would want so much of your front exposed, like being able to turn your skin into a hard demonic flesh that had some sort of game-play element.. then sure (combat transformation). When mana is channeled your chest lances with molten veins and your belly fills like a fire drake- while you maintain form nearby enemies receive fire damage. I don't know something more than "sexy time", I dont hate skin but I think things should make at least 'a little' sense lol.
For the back non-brawler classes being hit is not part of the plan (Dragoon has higher def, sort of a brawler) - I would just think giving females and males similar options then.
Why not have both, or are you intolerant of other peoples tastes? You don't get to decide what other people wear.
Lol thinking of a new command. Instead of just /visor, we can have /platekini where it slides into hidden compartments, you know, so you're not"boiling in this armor."
The female DRG armor debate is what spurned these designs. If I had to try and make sense of the belly window, maybe the wearer KNEW where the enemy was going to want to strike because of the exposed skin (goading them there). Perhaps being able to predict where your enemy is an advantage in that sense.

I remember someone mentioning how the Dragoons are trained to fight, well, Dragons. No amount of armor is going to help against alot of there attacks and being mobile is their best bet (gameplay-wise of course its different.) Though it makes me wonder if they complain about the cold. The female DRG armor debate is what spurned these designs.
