I personally wouldn't be bothered if I didn't get them within every 1-5 minutes in multiples.

I agree. If I only got a tell every 10 minutes or something like that I would be perfectly content. Easy to ignore that. However I get tells almost every minute and it is just to much to ignore. I also get "friend requests" a lot too. It is so dumb that when I click NO they are still on my friends list and I have to click NO again.

EDIT: A dev post right about now saying, "We are aware of the problem and are looking into solutions" would shut me up about this.

Oh look, this thread again.

Don't you just hate when the same general message keeps showing up OVER and OVER again? And there is nothing you can do that will disable it? Some guys just keep putting the SAME words on your screen, relentless in their endeavor despite never getting a single willing reply.

Let's face it, SE is ignoring these threads the same way we ignore RMT spam. But we continue. We carry on.

I don't think eliminating RMT altogether is what's being asked for here. We just want to not be bothered by spammers. Most measures (increased time between tells, require minimum level for /tell and /shout) would only be temporary fixes at best before the spammers get a work around.

Make it that blacklisting covers the account and not just that character, which would add accountability for any who make alt characters on the same account to troll. But yes, a one click report function needsd to be added that automatically sends all the releveant info, last communications, time stamp and server.

Many times I cba to go through all the report malarky and just Blist the spammer and move on. I won't be the only one either especially if you are busy with something else.

I don't care how frustrating it is, making multiple threads does not help your cause very much. I wonder what'd be more visible and more likely to be responded to by a rep: one giant thread dozens of pages long filled with RMT complaints, or a bunch of small threads that only last a few days before they're lost in the abyss and forgotten about?

Both of the major threads on it; I really only count two are 9+ and the other 50+ pages long with thousands of views and hundreds of post. For you to come to speak against the playerbase stressing their fustration is simply misdirected. Either hop on the train or get the hell off the tracks...
