Anyone Else Excited For New Expansions?

There are a ton of places already shown on the Eorzea map or that have connections to existing areas with NPCs standing around saying you can't enter. They can get to those before anything on another continent is added.

Obviously an "Expansion" wont be released before the core game is finished, thats just common sense. This thread is for future based content about what would we like to see. SE has everything planned out about the core game.

Zones require alot of resources to make, and they will hugely increase the patch downloads, we will only get zones through patches that are already in the dats, or they have been working on for a bit and slowly give us in patches as they complete parts.

Zones tend to come in expansions because they are too big for downloads.

As much as I like desert environments (with actual sand dunes, not the savannah style environment in Thanalan...even though thats cool too) I second this. They seem to know that too, since they're continuing with stacking content onto areas that already exist. Best thing to do is to completely flesh out the existing areas...or at least as much as currently possible, then expansion.

Actually, iirc Yoshida already commented in the Famitsu article that another continent will be added before access to even Ishgard is opened up. I could be wrong though.
