didnt read all of the 14 pages either but from what i saw on the pic i doubt they change it much for the female version since it looks like the demon armor in the first place and those are from male to female preety similar

Now that this thread came back through absolutely zero connivings of my own totally, I'm noticing this.
The DRK AF really does look a lot like the Demon Armor of Fending. Especially with the skirt and sashes, which appear to have the same pattern.
Now that actually makes me happy, since the Demon set looks so damn cool, the DRK AFK is like an upscaled version. If the chest piece is without belly holes, everything is golden.
I actually usually like the differences between male and female sets quite a bit.
Signed.
It's Final Fantasy, not Final "Sexual" Fantasy.
Stop thinking with your Stardust rods :/
Vital areas, like your face and head, perhaps? Judging from your current avatar, that crown you're wearing is hardly adequate protection for a smart woman, hmm?

The problem with that is that tin foil hats at least cover the top of the head, meaning it serves as an effective protection against microwaves being beamed down on you by the Illuminati. The PLD Crown doesn't even offer that much. May I suggest a Pot Helm instead?
Anyway, on topic, I agree with Mahri. I would personally prefer if the armor was actually full-body, but wasn't a Tin Can like the Darklight armor. Something that my catgirl would actually look good in without having any holes in her armor that enemies could take advantage of.

I usually like it when the female armor is different then the male version. Personally I like showing off my breasts or tummy. I know some people don't but others do lol.

You can still have a feminine design without it being showy. Typically, video games like to showcase women as objects of desire first and foremost. It's why you'll never see an unattractive heroine unless their appearance is somehow important to the plot. Occasionally though, they do at least get the outfits right.
There are items in FFXIV which are both feminine and modest. And not just flowery dresses either. There seems to be this illusion that a feminine outfit needs to show more skin, and that's a stereotype I'll be glad to see the end of.
