Question about healing Thousand Maws, because I sucked at it

Thanks everyone that's a good idea. It was so weird how it kept going down, like I was trying to esuna all the time but in the time it would take to cast it they were dying so quickly. I find it kind of hard also to tell what status afflictions someone has as I'm on PS4 so it just shows the icons beside someones name, but you can't just mouse over them easily to see what each is, so hard to tell if one is a buff or a status effect.

I think my gear is good but I'll definitely check, someone made it all for me when I was at a lower level and I'm pretty sure when I checked it was one of those things where even higher level gear still gave lesser stats, but I'll double check and see and try to get better gear if not. Was just so weird because every instance up until then was straightforward and almost boring, then suddenly it was like overkill time.

All negative effects arrow down and the buffs have a arrow up. Like a house with a roof sort of. When time progresses you'll know what effects are esuna-able and which are not. I know how annoying a thousand maws can be with the stackable poisons. But make sure you prioritize the slow debuff on yourself. One thing that can help for you is going to the HUD options and then make your status bar bigger and more visible for yourself. Hope that helps and good luck!
