Lucky for you, echo can be toggled. What's the complaint for?Some of us don't want it to be easier because we're still working on completing it. I'm only in T11, before you accuse me of being one of those hardcore raiders who beats everything in the first week. I'd just like to be able to finish Final Coil without any sort of nerfs.
Probably so people who are still dying to 2% enrage can finally push it and finish the fight, and start collecting gear? Because poetics is still capped. Also so people can finish coil before 3.0 comes out, people are likely to not go back to it. They wanna get the job done before it becomes irrelevant.
its 10% and doesn't increase.
If there are 4 DPS roles that is 40% more dmg, or 2/5th of a player.
2 healer roles which means 20% more heals or 1/5th of a player.
(HP doesn't really count, in this as groups don't share a collective HP pool...although that would be a cool mechanic in a boss fight >_>)
We did that already. We even had tanks surviving 3 stacks of Flare Star.Turns 10 and 13 will be nerfed the hardest by the echo. Turn 10 people will prob survive tether if only 2 people stack now. Turn 13 people will prob only get 2 flattens in first phase, and be able to survive 2 stacks of flare star with minimal to no mitigation in second phase. Not sure if the echo will be enough to skip the last ahk morn in last phase, im thinking it wont be for most players.
Turns 11 and 12's difficulty will be unchanged for the most part.
Except that;
T12; only hard part used to be pushing 4 bennus. Even the gear made it easier but now it's really trivial.
T13; the hardest thing was the amount of damage each little mechanic did, micro-management and the dps checks. The echo buff basically made all these threee parts significantly easier. You can also now push more dps without fearing Giga+3rd add on P2 (which is a good change though).
10% echo=/=10% easier. The amount of handicap is actually higher than 10%.
Anyways, I guess it's time to farm and boost the FC today lol.
I really wish they had done more primal focus style weeklies since it kept people in ex primals for that very reason. As for the us vs them I find that to be really situation and per person. I know some people who never do anything but what they need, and I know many that help every chance they can. Honestly for this reason I think the sol bonus was one of the best things they ever added. Hopefully they fix some of these problems going into 3.0.The EX primals were a good way to get people to learn, but now it's keeping people from playing new content because they're stuck on old primal fights that nobody's doing any more, or T5/T9. We're not helping with our us vs. them attitude though - I always do my best to explain fights and tell people where they're going wrong so they can clear a fight, but I'm as annoyed as anyone by the sheer amount of people making simple mistakes or plain playing their jobs wrong. 'Tis a shame.
You are viewing this from your PoV. Think from the pov of someone who doesn't actually raid or have a static for that manner. There will still be a high % of fail in general parties trying to attack fcob. It's a big deal for farm parties that can actually farm but for the common player stepping into fcob for the first time or trying to learn...it's minor at best. Dance>stats(yes im talking about ilvl requirement)>skill in that order.Except that;

Am I forgiven....
You can click echo off if you want to beat it without the nerfs.Some of us don't want it to be easier because we're still working on completing it. Mhm. Well. T9 has like 20% echo and I still see people doing less DPS than an ilvl 110 without echo. I can tell because I'm the tank and I'm the one who suffers these terrible Reavensbeaks. I can pretty much expect the same here. Echo seems to spoil DPS to go lazy. FCOB still requires to play your class in an optimal way. For some groups, even with echo, these struggles will still be there, sadly.Except that;
