While we may not cure death (probably because the "essence of life" leaves the body), we for sure heal a lot of broken bones, filleted organs and crushed, burned, corroded (and so on) bodies. To heal a cut off arm seems almost simple in comparison. But sure, the drama...

Except that he already wields his swords one-handed. They're both huge, but he dual-wields them like the bad-ass that he is. No reason he can't continue to do so with only one of them.

Well, when I look at the monsters we fight and their attacks, I'm pretty sure that I had to make things grow back more than a few times. If we could see the damage those attacks actually do, this game would be more "hardcore" than a splatter movie.
