    Landenel woes

Can someone plz tell me there is a better way to play against this guy?
I know his random fallen ace rule is BS but there just gotta be a way thts not
    - start match
    - get a bunch of 1* cards/ 1 3-5* card
-u go first so u bait
    - he flips ur card
    - u have flip his but ur exposed
    - he flips u
-u place ur strong card and only capture 1
    - he fills up the spots
    - GG u lose
Imo he has to be the worst npc even since swift pre nerf.
I'm at 59 cards and am missing 2 gc leaders, primals and dissidia ppl

    Damn him.

this wont work most the time because random stupid rule but try to ALWAYS start from bottom row and block the lower rows going upwards. this prevents him making effective use of odin and often you are given an opening to maybe turn the match. it works about 30-50% of the time. the reamining 50% is BAD card roll rng and you cannot win then. proves how retarded random rule is to be honest.

by using the above method i was able to finally get odin from him. took a while and lots of loses due to bad rng. cant be helped.

I got Odin from him last week. Dumb luck. It was the ONLY card he ever dropped for me. I got Titan from the trial. Go get #60 for your deck, it might help you get a better hand. I don't think it will give you multiple 3* cards even with random if you haven't hit the 60 card achievement. Good luck

Lanadel and swift were meant to not play until you have 60 cards, Id suggest get 60 then try again to save from frustration.

Problem is that to get up to 60 cards you really need to get a lot of the more difficult cards to get there. In fact, you need to either collect all 1, 2, and 3 star cards as well a few four and maybe an easy 5 star just to be able to play the rule. If there were more (and I can't believe I'm going to type this) lower star cards to allow you to make up the 60 cards that would be easier, although that would also make the pool of poor cards to draw even larger. Short of just adding terrible cards into your opponents deck, the random rule will always be quite flawed.

I tried Landenel again with 60+ cards. The vast majority of time I still ended up with a deck that couldn't deal with his overpowered combination of Odin and Bahamut (which is not currently allowed for player decks), combined with near static deck unaffected by Random.

Needless to say, 2.55 missed a huge spot here when Triple Triad was adjusted.

Always use your 1 star cards in the left middle slot, so you can re-flip it from either the top or bottom (if you get to go first). He is generally weak on the right side of his cards, with at least 2 weak at the top. In my experience, Odin and Bahamat are the last cards to be played so try not to position your cards in an L shape where he can take 2 of them with his 4th or 5th played card

In similar fashion I also wish to know what they were smoking when they allowed Tataru access to both Lightning AND Hildi's cards. Granted having her own card being the only 1* card in her deck was sort of meant to balance it out, but it's stupidly dumb to be losing to either of those cards unless I draw like a Cid or a Squall or something.

(Just ranting, still no Lightning card after about 450 wins against Tataru)

Its so broken and the fact tht it reauires so much luck rather than skill is crazy.

Heres a tip that worked wonders for me, if you plan on grinding alot its kinda easy to remember npc decks, bait out their strong cards by playing a weak card first. Tataru always has lightning and 2 scions her cards alternate between Biggs and wedge and hildebrant. if you go first try and place card in bottom right 1st. Also to get cards first try running primals and the dungeons I made it to sixty cards and I have 11 cards I haven't used 6 1 stars and 5 2 stars helps with random rule alot because I can't draw so many bad cards.
