    If I recall correctly, during the course of the Main Story quests, you meet the OTHER two brothers that would not have been in your non-legacy intro who continuously miss each other. You don't see the original brother until after Praetorium when they're all clapping for you, I believe. So as a legacy player, you don't meet that first brother until after defeating Gaius. Yet somehow, this momentous meeting is enough for him to treat you as an old friend who now shows up to whisk you away from Ul'dah after 2.55.

    Also, I believe the Journal is bugged. I got Bremondt in my cutscene but my Journal says that Brennan saved me with his carriage.

    More or less the goal was to take the 2 different story paths and have them merged together by the time 3.0 came. It's a lot easier from a narrative perspective for the dev team to remove the legacy vs non legacy variations. Most of what was 1.0 was retconed away anyway for ease-of-story construction. It was only a matter of time before the rest of it, including the PC's "existence" pre-calamity, would be retconed as well.

    What we have now is
    1.0 = a story
    2.0 = two stories merging
    3.0+ = a story

    Here's a picture to further prove it's not Leviathan. It's just a sea monster, supposedly its skeleton is found in Upper La Noscea, by the Poor Maiden area.

    It looks to me like the Nepto Dragon you can catch as Fisher is a baby version of whatever that is:

    It's a Thalaos. The Nepto Dragon is a mutated version of the Little Thalaos, which is itself named after the original big Thalaos.

    In the legacy opening the adventurer enter Limsa from the other side, not from the harbour

    Still need to cross the sea somehow, considering you reappeared in the Shroud...
