So for my weekly dungeon challenge log bonus, my friend offered to tank for me so I could go as anything I wanted. I decided I wanted to relax for a change and went on archer. Satasha? Yeah sure whatever.

We load and there are two new players - a thm and a cnj. Friend asks for protect a few times and we get nothing. Thm casts, so off we go.

..immediately, we realize the cnj is not healing. Halfway through the first pull, it starts to spam stone. I have cure cross classed, so I take on the main healer role.

Third pull or so, now instead of dpsing, the cnj randomly runs ahead. I'm spamming to try to vote kick, but it hadn't been 5 minutes. Cnj finally faceplants, then leaves the dungeon without a word on respawn. We continue with me weaving cures and the thm assisting from time to time.

We never did get a healer. The final boss was a little tricky since the thm didn't go for vents, but he was good about adds, so somehow we cleared it. So much for low stress dpsing..

@Reno -- that sucks, I can't believe you put up with it for a whole 20 mins // I'd take the lockout and just do hunts or something rather than put up with that. People thinking they can speed run lower level dungeons without even asking if the healer is up to it are a pet peeve -- same goes for experts. Better to just leave than suffer the negativity these types of players create.

I'm currently on a mini crusade to curb some rude behavior. As soon as load I type. "Please wait one moment." I start typing my mantra, " I will be happy to go as fast you want just please allow me to cast a fresh SS on you between pulls and look at my MP to make sure I am half full. If I have MP and I have SS on you I can PoM Holy and we can do this run in 15 mins"" I don't type slow but I look at the keys to type. I hit enter...everyone is gone and nearly dead already, no one waited or looked at my request to wait. Then I got berated for being awful, I left and took my penalty happily. I can do speed runs of the expert roulette in 15-20 mins depending on the tank. The only thing they have to do is pause briefly out of combat and then I can HOLY the hell out the 6+plus mobs without people being in danger of dying or you can run off without pause, be out of LoS around corners be nearly dead before I get there, then I have to blow my load to keep everyone alive, I get aggro then die and we wipe. Do you know how many stupid people will repeat that even after a wipe and some gentle instructions on how to get done really fast? It makes me nuts

That kind of defeats the purpose. They start with "Please wait a moment". If the party can't even wait long enough for them to finish typing...
I'd probably make a macro, though, just to save myself the typing and put a <wait.5> after the first line.

That is almost surely a bot. The trademarks of bots are that they move in predictable patterns "turning on a dime", don't keep track of enmity, and fail to use the right buffs.

I had a Tank so bad in Sunken Temple of Quarn last night that I would have thought for certain for a bot if they hadn't actually starting trying to be a comedian and use annoying emotes the whole time. This was one of those instances where Flash or any hate generating moves of any kind were used. The only saving grace was what made it so mind blowing at the same time. This was a Paladin wearing full basic job gear and with their relic weapon. I mean it wasn't the best gear no, but it implied they had likely progressed through the story itself. I spent the whole dungeon with 2 or more mobs on me at all times. When we got to the Golem the spamed the boss itself instead of the soulstone (correct me if I'm wrong, maybe the tank is supposed to do this, I wouldn't really know). We were saved by the fact that his gear allowed him to take ample damage and be fine and me being scholar so I had Eos to help spot heal when things got crazy but holy cow. How could someone hit 50 and still be so bad in a low lvl dungeon?

WoD on WHM earlier in the week (most of my WoD runs lately are just... *palm-face*. I'm at the point where just saying "I healed WoD" is the horror story by itself).
Angra, everyone was ignoring mortal gaze mechanics - including getting it off themselves when they're hit with it. It seems that they just decided to let the healers deal with it (as in, raise them. Every time). Fight lasted way too long.
I think this one fight alone spent my attention span to nothing. I didn't have high hopes, for the rest of the run.

Cerberus rolls around, and I'm healing the MT and our tank holding the ADDs - however, we were positioned in such a way that both I and alliance co healer were sort of wedged between the OT with the mob of wolfsbanes, the wall edge and alongside Cerb himself in a taco full of Nope. Couldn't really go too far one way or another without being cleaved, setting off his tail cone or being out of reach of the MT or OT (if I ran to Cerb's other side, the OT would have been out of range). Wolfbane mob suddenly turn around and bish slap us both to the floor (one hit, but multiple).
We both died again when we got light streak spammed (somewhat like when Titan WotL spams with people spread out around you and entrap you).

Of course, as things go, B was now the short bus alliance because of these two incidents. -_-; And it was made known annoyingly.

Hit CoD... the MT - being the loud one in /A - was barely being kept alive by his own healers. I feel like this happens a lot - I end up healing the MT alone or semi-alone - and if I don't for whatever reason, shit happens. I guess it's the "someone else's got it" x 5 thought. Somewhere down the lines, I'm healing my own party due to their taking up the meteor mechanics.... MT about to crash in one more hit. Bene his arse. Happens again down the lines. Bene on cool down, cure too slow to cast, Regen not enough to save him. Raised his arse. Thanks for pointing fingers when your own alliance won't even catch you. The short bus alliance was.


TL;DR (even though I condensed my ramble) - the 'short bus' alliance wasn't as short as ostracized.

A separate WoD horror that isn't really a healer horror.... I've been noticing that no one is watching where they're positioning Cerb (though, I guess to be fair, Cerb IS pretty big/long and probably hard to see full position - but I don't main tanking). ALL the DPS stuck in the barf got tail swiped in the face right before being eaten. >.>

Now just to make this clear of a question - in the case of CoD's meteors - the expected job to go for them are which? I would assume some DPS to take some of the responsibility, but I'm not too sure at this point... However, I can't tell if ALL healers are running off and hence the MT is left unattended... or what.
