New Jobs Gated Behind Completion of 2.0 Story?

teh fetch quest are not heroic and that normal, they often are used as a way to show you that you are a simple adventurer...even as warrior of light you are still an adventurer doing the most ungratefull jobs for get paid. other point it add deepth to the world, like the quest in the 2.1 with the hide and seek with the doman kids, it was adding a part of living.... they are quest where we kill nothing. because if you take out this quest, we will only have quest where we are the biggest mass murderer of eorzea!

you don't like this quest that your right, but i did enjoy the story behind and even if i have found some of this quest not very fluid and often a bit heavy (mostly because the game is not optimized on pc for this, we need a fast action button, like most mmorpg have now. we get near a point we can interact, we press a button and our character interact directly instead to click) the ywas bringing a lot of information about the world.

Then.. it should be removed from the base storyline =) Just make them optional quests that appear as you do the base story.

That way paperboys like you can enjoy it. Sorry - i've always been more of an Anti-Hero.

1. They give you XP to help level you up.
2. They lead you to level appropriate areas where you can find other stuff to do to level up.

What about all the filler in the level 50 quests which give you pretty much nothing?
