Dark Knight Mount Speculation

I don't really see tanks doing dungeons just cause they can get a mount. Besides to get the mount normal level 50 dungeons never counted. Just extremes and coil which didn't take much incentive to get tanks there anyways since they came for the loot.

I know of people that leveled a tank and farmed t4 ONLY for having the mounts.... After that, you could say they have not a tank, never used again... It's funny but, does people tank 'hard' content for the mounts? Yes.... Does people tank more? No...

Funny factor, the bard of my old static had the bear, I have NEVER seen him tanking, nor in raid or dungeon....

I tanked with my warriors and paladin over 1000 or more dungeons and stuff, surely, almost 3 months only using tanks... Yet, no mounts.

Yoshi-P touched on this question very briefly during the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XX. Just like paladin and warrior, we’re planning on adding a mount for dark knight.

how come just tank classes get thier own mounts?? should implement unique mount for every class not just tanks ._.

They've already said that tanks getting mounts are there as incentive to have more tanks. This game, and any MMO, suffer from a severe lack of tanks. The tank mounts are meant to get people who normally wouldn't tank, to start tanking some higher tiered content. Even if people have these mounts and will never touch tanks again, it would mean that the mounts have already served part of the purpose by having these non-tanks to tank 200 instances. That's really nothing to take lightly.

As for the DRK mount, people already know what it is. Hints were dropped months ago back at Fan Fest even. They're getting the Batmobile.

Running Coils and Extreme primals isn't helping the need for tanks. Now make it 200 dungeons of any level and SE would have done it right. As it sits now Running 200 T4 (if this is still the best way) doesn't help anyone.

Aside from all that make Tanks more fun to play, and they wouldn't have to throw incentives to get people to play. That's why I really hope they do DRK right, but I already know it will fail.

until they get the mount then wont touch them again lol and best way to get the mount is spam t4 how is that helping any1?? since tanks are needed at lower dungeons etc etc so really pointless giving tanks thier own mount n making them only obtainable by raid farming lmao

and another thing healers are in drastic short supply as well wheres the incentive for more healers lol?? couldnt possibly be the unicorn mount quest at level 30ish could it?? :P

IMO in SE speculation, they give mount achievement to boost tanker to do some dungeon/roulette. But since T4 is spam-able, well I don't know.
