

It is like I said in the original post they can have 1 item for both genders instead of having one male and one female specific. The item i posted is almost the exact same thing for each gender. That way its the same price for everyone.Supply vs. Demand
The rate of acquisition is (roughly) the same for both the male and female versions, but there's more demand for the female version, ergo the price is higher. Just basic economics, and nothing in need of developer intervention.
Seeing as the reverse is said often enough on these forums: if you don't like it, play as a dude.
The Ti Leaf Lei is a terrible item to use for a price comparison, because it's hideous and thus in extra-low demand. If I wanted it, I'd rather pay the price the male version is worth, than the much higher price of the female variant.
I understand your frustration, but try checking out how much the South Seas Talisman (or the Coeurl Talisman) goes relative to the female version if you want to properly examine price differences.
Then again, it's a change that benefits female PCs to the detriment of males, so I'm sure we can expect the dev response to be "we'll consider it."
