Who says MRDs can't tank in LotA? Everyone's so overgeared it really wouldn't make much of a difference, aside from healers possibly needing to be a little more attentive. Even then it's barely anything different from a WAR tanking without Defiance.

If they can't hold threat against the healers and dps, they aren't tanking. This isn't just about their lack of damage mitigation.

I'll say it again, for LotA, I really don't care as the dps can tank the trash if necessary, but I can see why someone would care and I'd rather not dismiss a valid complaint. It is an extra hassle and the person doing it is expecting others to possibly deal with a small annoyance on their behalf.

As I said in the beginning, I'd just roll my eyes and play through. I certainly wouldn't kick for it.

If a MRD can't hold aggro with their burst then there is honestly a serious problem with that MRD. (I can get 2k Butcher's Blocks with all cooldowns on MRD) Threat is less of an issue on MRD as mitigation, really.

What kind of crap DPS do you run with?

I'm out of Defiance a lot in FCoB, yes...when I'm NOT tanking or don't need it on for mitigation. If I have aggro on something (except for a single child in t10, and the 2nd Akh Morn) I will always have Defiance ON. Sure, I can likely hold against my DPS without Defiance (and have, accidentally), but there's that pesky thing called a boss that likes to eat your face off (and/or your healers mana) if you forget your tank stance...

Long time ago I was booted from a T9 for telling the party leader he was doing something wrong lol. He literally just left the raid after causing our wipe, didn't reply back to me and kicked me and I saw it back in party finder with a full group - 1 person LOL

I personally wouldn't have gone to the lengths to kick a MRD in labyrinth of the ancients.. But your reasoning sounds like an afterthought..

What would you have done on the off chance that your other tank was a WAR with 4k hp?

By queueing in the duty finder as a tank, you're agreeing to perform your role as necessary. How your group decides to react to your decision to instead take on a dps role, it's their own choice.
