Tangential to the thread as this is: Oh my GOD I am jealous right now AAAGH

I know Gold Saucer stuff doesn't belong in the thread.. but I drew chibis to express my reaction.

While my explanation post to combat Vain's erratic and negative replies included some of my more recent art; I'm still wary of posting any full blown pieces other than chibis and have decided to post them on my tumblr instead until I feel my confidence has fully recovered.

Duuuuude. Do NOT let useless, non-constructive criticism deter you, ever. Even if you're just drawing for fun, there exist people who'll piss on anything because they know they couldn't ever share anything worthwhile -- just like there are artists so stuck in their ways they lash out at critique, who are often just as bad. This is not to call out specific people here, but is just a thing that happens, especially on the internet. Share your stuff. Never be afraid. Even if you think it might suck. A wise cartoon man once said, "Sucking at something is the first step to being kinda good at something."
