Lol, you are already alienating EVERYONE included the most dedicated players of triple triad, such as me and my brother who still do the tourney regardless. Nobody in my free company even wants to try the tourney because of all the rigging. Whats the point in doing the tourney if it's not even about skill, just how many friends and accounts you have? It's complete bull, and it wasn't even fixed with last patch, if anything it's only going to make it worse, as now ALL riggers get their lovely mgp from rigging. Before it was only the top riggers that out rigged the other riggers that got the mgp.

What they are doing is clearly exploiting a flaw in SE's design. Sure they are not using a 3rd party program to do so but what you are saying that it's okay for them to be taking advantage of such a flaw. That would be the same as justifying someone who encountered a flaw in gathering to where they could gather more than the required amount, or someone who found a flaw where a NPC actually bought junk items for a high exchange of gil, and so forth. But you know SE would be instantly banning/rerolling characters who abused such an exploit because it would give them an "unfair advantage" or cause "imbalance" in the games economy and so forth. It's the same exact thing here. People found a flaw in design and are exploiting it causing an unfair advantage which causes an imbalance to everyone else who isn't taking advantage of the flaw.

Exactly. Which is what I don't understand. If this impacted the raid community, as in a new raid was circumvented somehow...players would be banned within hours. Why has this been permitted? We have players running around with hundreds of thousands of MGP they did not earn legitimately. How is this ok?

Hey, they aren't alienating the cheaters. There's at least 1 person each tournament who is really happy with the current system. That one person per server is all that matters to SE, ok?

everyone has the same chances in the tournaments, some people just know how to use their ressources better than others, but everyone is equal

some people are just worse because they think of moral in the internet

Already found a flaw with your logic. Some people buy gil off gilsellers to pay for their wins also, think everyone should do that too? They'd have to, to be "equal".

theres maybe less than 1% of the top rank players who spend irl cash, get one friend or some connections and you dont need cash at all

25k MGP
4 Platinum packs (sadly no new cards from them)

I got around 21K of points a 2 platinum packs. I don't care too much about the cards, but if you get that many MGP just for taking part in the tourney, then I welcome the change.

I am happy that the MGP reward is now reasonable for the rest of the ranks, I am happy that get a reasonable amount of platinum packs for reasonable score and I am happy that the platinum packs have a chance for each of the tournament cards. I am still not happy that the tournament rewards cheaters though. I also think that when one tournament ends the next should begin on the same day or the next day and not have to wait 2 weeks.
